Brett Pfanenstiel
Brett is the owner and head piercer of Ad Astra Piercing Co. and has over 17 years of piercing experience. He was born and raised in Leoti, Kansas and began his apprenticeship at The Elektrik Chair in Wichita, Kansas back in 2008. He enjoyed five years of piercing at Sore Loser in Hays, Kansas before returning to the Elektrik Chair where he worked for an another four years. In 2019, he had the amazing opportunity to relocate to beautiful Lawrence, Kansas and opened Ad Astra Piercing Company. Brett’s loves living in Lawrence and cheering on the KU Jayhawks with Natalie and his daughter Ilsa (head of HR).
Natalie Wintz
Natalie is a licensed body piercer and has been a Registered Nurse for the past 16 years. Her nursing history focused primarily in pediatrics and women’s health, and she continues to work in the nursing field PRN back in her hometown of Wichita. She started her piercing journey in Wichita in 2022 as a children’s piercing specialist, and became licensed in KS to pierce all ages in 2023. She attended the Association of Professional Piercers (APP) conference in 2023 and continues to use her medical background and knowledge in her piercing practice. Natalie is also a certified Stop the bleed instructor, CPR & BLS certified, and has her multi-state license as an RN, BSN. She is a mom of two humans, three dogs, one cat and can’t wait to be piercing in Lawrence! ROCK CHALK!
